The Herald has been doing a great series over the last few weeks ‘Break the Silence’ -  finally bringing the debate on our shameful rate of youth suicide out into the open.

In case you missed it chief science advisor Sir Peter Gluckman and Minister Jonathan Coleman both contributed to the Herald this week. A clear outcome for both was the need to build resilience and self-esteem in our young people with Sir Peter Gluckman also talking about the need to build social skills and self-control at primary school.
